Delaware 2021 State Parks Annual Passes, Surf-Fishing Permits on Sale Dec 16

The Delaware DNR and Environmental Control announced that the sale of 2021 Delaware State Parks Annual Passes and Surf-Fishing Permits will begin Wednesday, Dec. 16. This year, the DNREC Division of Parks and Recreation instituted several upgrades that will allow for more efficient fulfillment of passes and permits. Minnesota has Scheduled two Special Hunts to Combat CWD

Minnesota DNR has scheduled two special hunts in parts of southeastern MN in Dec and Jan aimed at limiting the spread of chronic wasting disease in wild deer. Residents and nonresidents can participate in the hunts from Saturday, Dec. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 2, through Sunday, Jan 3, in deer permit area 343, the entire southeast management zone (deer permit areas 643, 645, 646, 647, 648, 649, 655) and the south metro management zone (deer permit area 605). West Virginia’s muzzleloader deer hunting season will open Dec. 14 and the state DNR is reminding hunters to buy their stamp before the season starts if they want to harvest an additional deer. During muzzleloader season, which runs through Dec. 20, hunters may harvest one deer on a base license and one additional deer if they purchase a Class RM or Class RRM stamp before the season starts. Maryland 2020 Muzzleloader Deer Season Reopens Dec 19

The Maryland DNR announces the muzzleloader deer hunting season will reopen Dec. 19 and run through Jan. 2, 2021. This is the second half of Maryland’s split deer muzzleloader season; the first half was held in October. South Dakota Reminds Hunters to Register for 2020-21 Winter Depredation Hunts

South Dakota residents may register for potential depredation hunts for deer, elk, antelope and turkey as of Dec. 1, 2020. Hunters can register free-of-charge; however, if a hunter is selected for an elk depredation permit, there is a $20 fee. All other depredation permits are issued for free. Oregon Hatchery Winter Steelhead Fishing in the Umpqua Basin Might Net Anglers a Reward

Oregon anglers who harvest a hatchery winter steelhead and return the snout to an ODFW collection barrel have a chance to win a $50 gift card if their fish is coded wire tagged.
