ODNR Increases CWD Testing in 3 Northwest Counties

The Ohio (ODNR) is asking white-tailed deer hunters in portions of Wyandot, Marion, and Hardin counties to submit samples of harvested deer for CWD testing. Testing is voluntary but highly encouraged. South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) announced their Hunt for Habitat raffle is now open for 2021. New this year, participants can give Hunt for Habitat tickets as a gift. The opening of the 2020-2021 Game Bird Hunting Season at the Kahua/Ponoholo Ranch Cooperative Game Management Area will begin on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  This game bird hunting season will run through Sunday, January 17, 2021, with legal hunting days on Saturdays and Sundays, only. DNREC has Temporarily Closed State Parks Nature Centers due to COVID-19 Concerns

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has temporarily closed all nature centers within Delaware State Parks as of Monday, Dec. 14 through Jan. 11, 2021, to limit the spread of COVID-19. MDC Sets 2021-22 Deer/Turkey Hunting Dates

The Missouri Conservation Commission approved the following recommendations by the MDC for 2021-22 turkey-hunting and deer-hunting season dates. MDC Approves 1st Black Bear Hunting Season Framework

The Missouri Conservation Commission recently gave final approval to the MDC for the state’s first black bear hunting season framework. The approved framework limits any future bear hunting to areas of southern Missouri and restricts bear hunting to Missouri residents only.
