by TBC Press on 02/19/21Due to the unprecedented winter weather that has impacted the state this week, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is asking volunteers in this removal effort to wait until Monday, February 22nd before removing any traps with buoys from the open water. Waiting to remove these traps will allow crabbers the opportunity to collect traps that they may not have been able to pick up earlier in the week due to the recent winter weather conditions. WVDNR Reminds Anglers of New Fishing Regulations for 2021
by TBC Press on 02/19/21Anglers in West Virginia have new fishing regulations to follow and are encouraged to check the 2021 Fishing Regulations for a roundup of changes that may affect them. Probably the biggest change is that we now have a statewide 30-fish daily creel and 60-fish possession limit for game fish that didn’t have a creel limit before. The new creel and possession limit went into effect Jan. 1 for black and white crappie in aggregate, bluegill and all other sunfish species in aggregate, all other game fish currently not under a creel limit, and yellow perch. by TBC Press on 02/17/21The opening of Hawaii archery hunting in Pu'u Anahulu Game Management Area (GMA) will begin on Sunday, March 7, 2021, and continuing on weekends and State Holidays through Sunday, June 27, 2021. Annual closure of the archery season in this GMA will be from July through February. Michigan DNR Approves 2021 Deer Hunting Regulations
