To protect the fish during the study, ODFW is closing all angling for and retention of steelhead from April 1-June 30 upstream of McKay Dam, including in the McKay Reservoir, McKay Creek and all tributaries. The shed antler collection regulation, which was amended by the WGFC in November, 2020, requires that antler collection on public lands begins at 6 a.m. on May 1.
