Oregon Hunters: Register by Oct 17 for 2021 C2 Cattle Ranch Late Archery Hunt Drawing

The C2 Cattle Company will conduct an Oct. 20 drawing to allow five Oregon archery hunters to hunt the Rogue unit late archery deer season (Nov. 13 to Dec. 5) on the ranch. ODFW Opens Big Creek 2021 Hatchery Coho Salmon Early

Big Creek (lower Columbia River tributary east of Astoria) opened to fishing more than two weeks early (Oct 1) to allow anglers to access an expected large hatchery coho salmon run and surplus hatchery Chinook salmon. Big Creek is typically open from the mouth (including the railroad trestle near the mouth) to the hatchery deadline Oct. 16-Dec. 31 for hatchery Chinook, hatchery steelhead and hatchery coho. California’s recreational spiny lobster season is set to kick off Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at 6 a.m., continuing through March 16, 2022. IRAP Accepting Applications for 2021 Waterfowl & Upland Game Hunting Opportunities

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) announced it is now accepting applications for 2021 Waterfowl and Upland Game hunting opportunities this fall on private land through the Illinois Recreational Access Program (IRAP). One Montana’s Master Hunter Program (MHP) is accepting applications from Oct. 1 through Nov. 30 for the 2022 program.
