CDFW Commercial And Recreational Dungeness Crab Fishery Update

Humpback whales have migrated out of Fishing Zones 1 and 2 and crabs there have passed quality testing (PDF), which means that the California commercial fishery north of the Sonoma/Mendocino county line to the Oregon state line will open on Dec. 1, giving commercial crabbers the opportunity to get crab on tables and menus before the year is out. Tennessee’s 2021-22 statewide gun hunting season for deer opened Saturday, Nov. 20. During gun season, sportsmen may also use muzzleloader or archery equipment. Texas 2021 Red Snapper Fishing Closed in State Waters

The Texas TPWD will close red snapper fishing in state water November 15. In January 2022, TPWD will reopen red snapper fishing in state waters while federal water will remain closed until the summer. Vermont Hunters Asked to Help Collect Deer Teeth for Research
