Controlled hunt opportunities at Crown City Wildlife Area (Gallia & Lawrence Cos.). Quail hunting is open on private land only in 16 counties. CDFW Offering 2020-21 Waterfowl Hunts at East Bay Ecological Reserve
by TBC Press on 11/05/20Hunters can soon participate in California's no-fee 2020-21 waterfowl hunts amid restored salt ponds at Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (ELER) in Hayward. Eden Landing waterfowl hunts are unique in that there are no fees charged and hunting is offered on some Tuesdays and Thursdays when many public waterfowl hunting areas are closed. These hunts typically produce a two-to-three-bird average per season with northern shoveler and American wigeon being most common taken. LDWF Reminds Migratory Bird Hunters of Mandatory HIP Certification
